Pyrometric enrichment of rare metals

At present, the treatment methods for electroplating sludge mainly include stabilization/solidification technology, heat treatment technology, biological treatment technology, and pyrometallurgical melting disposal technology. Among them, pyrometallurgical melting disposal has the advantages of recovering metal resources, producing harmless slag, and reducing sewage discharge, gradually becoming the mainstream process adopted by large-scale electroplating sludge comprehensive utilization enterprises. The process route for pyrometallurgical treatment of electroplating sludge includes pre drying high moisture content electroplating sludge in a drying kiln, high-temperature calcination in a countercurrent calcination furnace to remove material crystallization water, and then adding calcined blocks to the melting furnace for high-temperature melting reduction. The slag composed of Cu, Ni and other metal elements separated by density difference and FeO, SiO2 and CaO is used to recover metals such as copper, nickel, and chromium. The entire process is divided into three parts: pre drying system, roasting system, and high-temperature melt reduction system.
